The iPhone 5C digital and social campaign features 40 animations made out of the product’s design and its color combinations that turned into stories.

The 40 animations were localized in over 10 countries. A print campaign came at the same time with our stories. This was the first Apple social appearance creating a Tumblr page and promotional posts.

  • For each of the 40 distinct animations, we crafted stories by pairing the six iPhone 5C colors with dot elements from the corresponding iPhone cases. We effectively communicated a broad range of visual concepts with minimal visual information.

    The most significant discovery was realizing that each color combination tells its own story, highlighting how much can be conveyed using such a reductive language of color and dots. The identity we created became iconic, abstracting the product's graphic elements to craft something truly unique.
