Brighter in the Dark is a temple of sight and sound, combining an art installation with an artist brand activation and creating an immersive one of a kind experience soundtracked by Childish Gambino.

A pyramid, split in two, created two unique spaces made of reflective black materials.
One half of the pyramid merged acrylic with transducers, producing ethereal suspended sheets of sound. The other half used a laser beam that reacted to sound from high above, creating a connection between Donald Glover and his light show. The result was a deeply immersive experience of the artist’s music.
Portals served as visual devices, opening doors to the interior spaces where various pieces of art-directed content played.
Black-and-white imagery of elements from nature, combined with color gradients, was the digital artwork commissioned to Laura, referencing Childish Gambino’s live performance.
Additional design identity was created for both Childish Gambino’s and Google’s social media channels during Coachella.
